Can I get a refund or transfer my entry to another event?
No. All entry fees are non refundable and non transferable. As you can imagine putting on a  trail race can be very expensive, as well as very time consuming. Most costs(shirts, permits, park fees, insurance, ect...) are uncured well in advance. Even a small percentage of runners requesting refunds would prohibit us from holding the event.


Something has come up and I just can not make it to the race. Can I sell my entry or let someone run in my place?
No. All entry fees are non transferable.

 
What about inclement weather?
If we have to cancel an event due to reasons beyond our control, every effort will made to reschedule that event. If we are not able to reschedule the event you will be sent a rain check voucher good for entry into any of our future events. 


Can I have my shirt mailed? (awards mailed?)
Shirts are handed out at  scheduled bib pickup.  If you are unable to be at the event and wish to have your shirt mailed to you, there will be a $12 shipping and handling fee.  Please contact Ame Cothran to arrange delivery via USPS (ame@goruntrails.com).  You may have someone pick up your shirt during the event( please let us know this is your intension ) 



When are race-day instructions sent to entrants?
We email all entrants race day instructions approximately one week prior to event.
Make sure we have your email.



Can I run as a bandit?
No. Running as a bandit (not registering) in organized events is wrong and very inappropriate,  even though you don’t consume drinks or food. The organizers expend a tremendous amount of time and money for permits, Emergency Medical Aid Stand by,  park monitors, measuring and marking the course, insurance, and publicizing the event. Pay your entry Fee 


Trail Etiquette?
Please be courteous on the trail. If you're passing another runner or hiker, announce "passing on your left" as you approach.
Do Not Litter. Do not throw anything on the ground. Put litter in the appropriate containers.


May I wear headphones?
Headphones are discouraged. We believe that all your attention should be on the trail.
 

Are dogs allowed?
No dogs allowed on the course. Please don't leave pets in your vehicle.


Are Rest Rooms Provided on the Trail ?   
Rest Rooms are generally at the start and finish areas of races. Since the races you will be running take place on natural trails and in real forests, we like to say use the "facili-trees".


Are outside vendors/parties welcome at  our running events?
Outside vendors need to contact us for further information.
